The Cricket In The Violin
Couldn't load pickup availability
One summer, a curious cricket discovers an old violin in the forest and decides it’s just the thing for a spot of moonlit music. Soon, her playing has enchanted all the little woodland creatures – from mice to moths – and the forest is filled with beautiful sounds.
But when a bitterly cold winter arrives, the animals need firewood, and that lovely old violin starts to look rather useful for an entirely different reason. Once everyone is warm again, they realise what they’ve lost. Can they put things right?
With playful, witty and wonderfully detailed illustrations by internationally acclaimed artist Anna Haifisch, this charming forest fable is a story about music, friendship and remembering what makes life special.
